Hans Terzer:
Hans Terzer, one of Italy’s most renowned enologists, has been the company’s winemaker since 1977. He has also acted as president of South Tyrol’s “Kellermeister” association for more than 20 years.
Over time, he worked with the management to help persuade members to adopt an approach based strictly on quality. This did not always prove an easy task but with a combination of great creativity, a good instinct, and lots of pride, he finally managed to make San Michele what it is today: one of the top wineries in Italy.
